PounceFit

Body assessment for dietitians.

For a dietitian, a body assessment shows what changes in body composition between visits, beyond the number on the scale. PounceFit calculates body fat percentage, lean mass and muscle mass from skinfolds or a bioimpedance scale, keeps the patient's lab results and builds a PDF report with your credentials.

Progress between visits.

Charts per method. Skinfold and scale results never mix, so every comparison is fair.

Skinfolds or a scale?

The app handles both. A scale is quick; well-taken skinfolds are usually more accurate for an individual.

For skinfolds, try the Durnin & Womersley calculator and the Jackson & Pollock 7-site worked example. For scales, see which ones work.

Frequently asked questions

What does the dietitian profile change?

The profile decides which features start turned on and puts your credentials in the report header. You can turn any part on or off later in Settings.

Can I use the bioimpedance scale I already have?

Only if it is on the list of compatible scales. The ICOMON FI2001B-E was tested with a real device; OKOK and the Xiaomi Mi Body Composition Scale 2 are in testing. Scales from other makers are not recognized.

Can I attach lab results?

Yes. Glucose, triglycerides, LDL and HDL get a range badge, and the PDF lab report (up to 20 MB) is attached to the assessment.

Can the report be in Portuguese or in pounds?

Yes. Language (English or Portuguese) and units (metric or imperial) are set for each patient.

How much does it cost?

It is a monthly or yearly subscription with a free 14-day trial. See Pricing.
